2. About these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or buy products from us. Please read them before placing an order. By placing an order you agree to them.

These terms are written in English and the contract between us will be in English. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

3. Using our website

You must be 18 or over to place an order.

You may not use our website for any unlawful purpose, to upload viruses or malicious code, to harvest others' personal data, to scrape or crawl the site, to interfere with its security, or to post material that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or that infringes anyone's rights. We may suspend or withdraw your access if you breach this section.

We try to keep the website available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it. Website content is provided for general information and is not advice.

4. Our products

Product images and colours are shown as accurately as we can manage, but your device's display may differ slightly. Packaging may vary.

Our garments are printed to order. For direct-to-garment printing there is a tolerance of 0.5" (approximately 13mm) in print placement; minor variations within this range are normal and are not defects.

5. How a contract is formed

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We'll send an email acknowledging your order, but this does not mean we've accepted it. The contract between us is formed only when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched.

We may decline an order — for example if the product is unavailable, if we've identified an error in the price or description, or if we're unable to authorise your payment. If we decline, we'll tell you and refund any sums paid in full.

6. Price and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and are those displayed on the product page at the time you order. [Prices include VAT where applicable. / We are not currently VAT registered.] Delivery charges are shown separately before you pay.

We take payment at the point of order. If a product is obviously mispriced and the error would reasonably have been apparent to you, we are not obliged to supply it at the wrong price; we will contact you before proceeding, and will cancel and refund in full if you'd prefer.

We may change our prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

7. Delivery

We'll deliver your order within the timescale shown at checkout and in our Shipping Policy, and in any event within 30 days of the contract being formed unless we've agreed otherwise with you.

If delivery is delayed by something outside our control, we'll let you know and do what we can to minimise the delay. If the delay is substantial you may cancel and receive a full refund.

8. Cancellation, returns and faulty items

You have a legal right to cancel most online orders within 14 days of receiving them, without giving a reason. Full details of how to cancel, how to return items, and what happens if something arrives faulty or damaged are set out in our Refund and Returns Policy.

Please email to help@wtctheology.org.uk for any product queries.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods we supply must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If they aren't, you're entitled to a remedy. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

9. Things you send us

If you send us comments, ideas, suggestions or other material — whether we asked for it or not — you agree we may use, edit, publish and distribute it without payment or obligation of confidence, and you confirm it's yours to give and doesn't infringe anyone else's rights or break the law. You're responsible for what you send.

10. Third-party links

Our website may link to sites we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, products or practices, and any dealings you have with them are between you and them.

11. Our liability to you

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it's obvious it will happen, or if at the time the contract was made both parties knew it might.

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • breach of your legal rights in relation to the products, including the right to receive goods that are as described, match information we gave you, and are of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose; and
  • defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.

We are not liable for business losses. If you use our products for any commercial or business purpose, we have no liability to you for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

12. If you are a business customer

If you buy from us in the course of a business, you agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from your breach of these terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Changes will not apply retrospectively.

14. Privacy

We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15. Complaints

If something has gone wrong, please email help@wtctheology.org.uk and we'll aim to respond within five working days and resolve matters as quickly as we can.

If we can't resolve your complaint between us, we are not currently a member of an alternative dispute resolution scheme for retail. You can also get free advice from the Citizens Advice consumer service on 0808 223 1133 or at citizensadvice.org.uk.

16. General

If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

If we don't insist that you do something you're required to do, or delay in taking action against you, that doesn't mean we've given up our right to do so later.

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation; we'll tell you if we do, and it won't affect your rights. You may not transfer yours without our written agreement.

This contract is between you and us. No one else has any right to enforce it.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts and you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
